The equation for Ohms Law is Voltage(volts) divided by Resistance(ohms) |
The more voltage there is, the more current there is. There are particles that try to stop the current from flowing. That is called resistance. More resistance means the less current there is. This phenomenon was discovered by George Ohm. This is is why they call it Ohm's law.

Ohm's Law can be applied to house fires by testing the current in houses and making sure the current is not too strong. Home builders can do this to prevent any fires from happening |
